Dear Scoutmaster,

The time has come again to seek new candidates for the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scout’s National Honor Society. We are very excited with our new and improved unit elections committee, and have set this year’s goal to have all elections done by mid-May to be ready for tap outs during summer camp. To do this Menawngihella Lodge will be doing OA elections at the Council’s Spring Camporee. For any troops that do not wish to have elections done at the Camporee or are not attending it, the Lodge will gladly come to a troop meeting of your best convenience to do elections. The Lodge only asks that whenever we do your troop’s elections, please have at least one half or more of the troop present. If you could please contact our team and let us know when the best possible time to do elections for your troop is we would greatly appreciate it. With your help we can make this year’s elections run very smooth and have a spectacular tap out ceremony for summer camp. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me. Thank you very much, and please do not forget to contact our election team by one of the two people at the bottom.

Just a reminder, to be eligible for the Order of the Arrow a scout must be First Class and have camped a total of fifteen nights by elections. All scouts and adults must be approved by their Scoutmaster.

Thank you and we hope to hear from you real soon!!

Yours in Brotherhood,
