Saturday, February 19 2011
1.      Four races will be conducted on Saturday, February 19th 2011 at the Fairmont WalMart.

2.      One first place, second place and third place winner from each den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos) of every Pack in the Council is eligible to compete.  That’s right this year the top THREE winners from each division at the pack level will have an opportunity to race.

3.      The winning Scout must be present to race his car.

4.      Each Scout will arrive for check in and have his car inspected (see Race Inspection Points).

7.      Once the car is checked in, no lubricant may be applied and the car will only be handled by race officials.

8.      No work may be done on cars after weigh in and cars are in pit area.

9.      The Pit Crew will take each car to the Starter for placement on the track. The Pit Crew will also remove each car from the finish line and replace it to the Car Corral.

10.  If any minor repairs need to be made during the race, the Pit Crew will complete these repairs, such as a wheel falling off.

11.  No race will not be held up for repairs, or for glue to dry. If for example, the wheel still falls off during the heat, that car comes in last and will wait for the next heat to compete again.

12.  Each heat of each race will be determined by a randomized computer system and judged by that computer system by time to the thousandth of a second to ensure fairness to all competitors.

13.  All decisions made by Race Officials are final.
