Come and explore the world of

Camp Mountaineer with your family!!

May 18, 19, & 20, 2012

Camp Mountaineer

Friday night, Saturday all day and night,

check-out Sunday morning

Check-in, Friday, May 18th 5:30-7:30pm or Saturday, May 19th, 7:30-8:30am

Cost: $20.00 per Pal (Cub Scout aged child)

Adult fee $15.00 - Small Fry (ages 3-6) $10.00 - (under age 3 free)

includes meals, a patch and all activities

Who may attend?

Any Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelos with a parent or guardian over the age of 18

Family Camping with open program for everyone!

Spend the day hiking, fishing, boating, doing crafts, shooting, hanging out in camp, geocaching,

learning about nature and much more.

Who May Attend?

All Cub Scouts and a parent or legal guardian 18 or older

Where’s the Fun?

Camp Mountaineer

187 Camp Mountaineer Rd, Morgantown

Approx 6 miles south of the 68/79 interchange on 119 (Grafton Rd)

When

May 18th (Friday night check-in) through Sunday morning May 20th

Friday- Night Fun and Crackle Barrel Check in 5:30 - 7:00 pm – Arrive and set up

Saturday- 3 meals prepared for you and Activity Stations Start time 8:00 a.m. Flag Raising

Saturday- Night Campfire (for all in attendance)

Sunday- Breakfast, Scouts Meditation Service and depart for home.

Parents highly encouraged to attend with their Scouts

(That’s why we call it a Parent and Pal! But, Grandma or Grandpa’s work too!)


Events: scheduled events throughout the day along with meals.

Campsites will be available at no fee but you must bring your own tents. You may request a certain campsite but campsites will be given according to the number of youth and adults attending with your unit. Smaller units and individuals will be assigned to shared campsites.

What do I get with my fee? Cub Scouts will receive:


2 cracker barrels

2 breakfasts

1 lunch

1 supper

1 event patch

What to bring:


Health form (A&B)

Tent

Sleeping Bags

Cot (or sleeping pad)

Flashlight

Uniform

Pants

Socks

Raingear

Jacket or coat

Fishing gear

Snacks (packed in animal proof containers)

Personal items (don’t forget Medications)

Extra Shoes & Socks

Sweatshirt (it gets cold)
