2013 Jamboree and Final Payment Due Now
Here are the Mountaineer Area Council Leaders for the two Troops going to the 2013 National Jamboree:

Currently, we have very few openings left with the Troops and Crews. Get your application in quickly. Go to the Jamboree Site to apply, and then bring a $100 deposit to the Council office with the Jamboree paperwork. See office about refund policy.

We will also have two crews going to the Jamboree, their Leaders will be chosen at a later time.

Jamboree Participants (Leaders, Scouts, and Parents): Just a reminder that payments are due on the 15th of the month.

Final Payment should be in your account at this time. Total payment is $1,300. If you do not have this total deposited, please call the Scout Office about paying the remaining balance.  

Training Dates:

NOTE: Troop and Youth Leaders will be chosen after training by Committee, please do your best. Youth Leaders must be present at the training to be chosen for a youth leader position.

April 6th, 2013 will be the first required training for all Jamboree Troops and Crews going to the National Jamboree 2013. The training will be held at Camp Mountaineer from 9am to 5 pm. During this time our Scouts will be reviewed and the Scouts Leaders positions will be assigned. All present need to bring a sack lunch for this training.

June 1 & 2, 2013 will be the Weekend required training for all Jamboree Troops and Crews going to the National Jamboree 2013. BSA Medical Forms are needed to for this training. Times and what to bring will be given out at a later time.
