All Scouts should start selling as soon as they check with their leaders for the exact date you should turn in your completed order forms to your unit leadership.

It’s up to you and your unit but remember that the ninth point of the Scout Law says that a Scout is “thrifty” and one of the things we try to teach is the reward for hard work.  In this case, a week at camp or a trip to the zoo or the ability to purchase a new uniform or supplies at the scout shop, or even a high adventure trip to the new Jamboree may be the payoff.

Units will share in the council’s profit.  We will be returning to your unit 50% of the profits we make off of the sale of Virginia Diner Nuts.  The more we sell as a council the less the product will cost; bringing more profit to both.

We will deposit your portion into your unit account at the office (you can make other arrangements —talk to Dan).  It will be up to the unit to track youth sales figures.

Leaders will have an Excel worksheet to fill out  - available on our website after March 15th. www.macbsa.org

Or call the council office to have a copy emailed to you.

Please use this worksheet not the one found on the Virginia Diner website as the products are different.
