Camp Lynn is 168 acres of beautiful rustic remote camping located at N39 30.380W079 52.350, (2.6 miles from Camp Mountaineer on Boy Scout Rd). Camp Lynn is remote with limited access by vehicle. With natural streams, a large field, hard wood and pine forests surrounding it, it's a perfect location for backpacking, trail excursion, or primitive camping.

However, with no clean water source or restroom facilities, its use is limited. Therefore, Mountaineer Area Council is seeking funds to place a latrine on site but needs to raise funds for the upkeep of Camp Lynn. This will be done through the CLUB project.

The Camp Lynn Utilization and Beautification (CLUB) project is a means to provide funding to Camp Lynn, similar to Camp Mountaineer’s "Camp Champ" Program and the Camp Stewarts group, but the goal is to raise funds through the endowment with the interest earmarked for Camp Lynn operations and maintenance (O&M). This program has a wide range of donation options from $2 for a sticker to $1000 for a Diamond CLUB member. The initial project goal is $10,000.

Stockholders

As a CLUB member, with each $50 donation given to the Camp Lynn Fund, you will receive a “stock” of Camp Lynn. As a stockholder, you will get to vote on Camp Lynn operation and maintenance needs, and even future projects.

Once a year, a CLUB meeting will be held to determine if and where available funds will be used. No matter what level you are, all CLUB members will have an opportunity to steer the future of Camp Lynn.

Do Your Part

There are multiple ways to give to this worthwhile cause! You can fill out the paperwork and submit it to Mountaineer Area Council or donate online at http://www.razoo.com/story/Camplynnfund.

Please note, due to Razoo’s charges and policies, not all merchandise will be available to all members. Also, making donations anonymously will keep you from getting merchandise.

So you can only afford the Bronze Level but want to get to Diamond? That’s fine! If you want to build from one level membership to the next, you can. Donations are additive, and with each new level you will receive the addition recognitions given at that level!

This is your chance to make Camp Lynn more than just a field amongst the woods, but a stable and viable resource for your Scouting unit, family, and friends!
